How fast is it, really?
Because power is software-limited, the same bike can be a beginner trail machine or a 450-beating motocrosser.
Traction control and engine-braking settings are adjustable per map from the dash.
Real-world range
Stark quotes ride time rather than range, which is the honest way to describe a moto bike.
At trail pace on a low map, 3–6 hours is realistic; at race pace expect about an hour.
Verdict
Buy the Varg EX if you race or ride at a high level and want the best-performing electric off-road bike available. For casual trail riding it is far more bike and far more money than you need.
Is it street legal?
Competition and off-road use only.
